Flack was born in 1973 and grew up on the North Antrim Coast developing his own perception of the landscape of Ireland. This personal perception, which Flack acquired, can be seen through his work today representing the winter months and the summer months. To this day, all of Flack’s works have been based on what surrounds him. Colin’s parents as well as owning a hotel on the north Antrim coast, also owned an art gallery and so he has grown up with some of Ireland’s greatest artists surrounding him. One of the major turning points in Flack’s career was when he exhibited his works in the Fine Art Trade Guild Artists Exhibition in 2003. His paintings all sold within days. Some people even pre ordered his work before even seeing it.
